A project in Tap brings saved page cards, rich-text notes and to-dos into one compact workspace. Open it from the glass when you need a little more room.
Give useful pages a home.
Save a page’s URL and a custom name under Web. Click its card to open the page in Tap’s embedded browser, or use its controls to open it in your system browser or remove the saved card. Tap shows one active page at a time. Closing the page returns to the workspace and releases that page’s resources.
Write in the right notebook.
Project notes stay with the selected project. The notebooks button gives you a view across notebooks; quick notes can live in the default notebook without belonging to a project. Format text with headings, font sizes, emphasis and lists, and export a note as Markdown.
Keep the next step visible.
Create a to-do, optionally give it a due date, and mark it complete when it is done. Pin a note or to-do to the glass for quick access. These are local project tools, not a connected calendar or email inbox.
Search without opening another workspace.
Use the compact search field for a Google search, a URL or saved project content. Search and open a page inside Tap, then return to the glass when you are finished.
Local work, optional connections.
Projects, notes and to-dos do not need a Tap account. Contacts and messaging use an optional account and online service. Product analytics are enabled by default and can be disabled in Tap Settings. See the privacy page for the details.
